working hard

I haven't really written anything about my job because it's been really up in the air lately, but here is what i'm doing , and what I know so far!

I have been assigned for these next couple of weeks to work in a place called the Global Outreach Center (GO center for short), which is the hotel facility of the YWAM base for guests who come here from all over to attend conferences.... mostly YWAM leaders from bases all over the world. This particular base here in Kona is the headquarters of YWAM. so, there are conferences here all the time. Anyway, I work everyday from 7- 3p.m at the Go center usually folding laundry, changing towels etc etc... I am the lady who goes "knock knock, HOUSEKEEPING!" I will be doing that for the next couple of weeks while they're short staffed, and then I'm assigned to go into the Foundation school- the school for the children of people taking DTS (training). Usually I wake up around 5:45, and we have to be ready to get into the van at 6:15 head to campus, pray together, have breakfast, then we start work at 7! The GO center doesn't open til 9 a.m so we help out in the kitchen until 9, then head to the GO center. It's been great working there actually :) I really like the girls i'm working with, and I' learning how to properly make a bed! :D among other things...

This is during our 2 hours in the kitchen :) wiping tables

Miriam and Inge (Inge is from Norway, and very sweet. they both work with me at GO center)

This is Miriam from Germany. I really love her, she's 26 and a kindergarten teacher at home so we talk about that a lot :) Anyway she works with me at the GO Center.

This is OUR CAFETERIA! :) on campus

P.S: i miss my friends and fam :( - i'm sure it's just an episode of homesickness that will wear out by the morning time lol
