shout outs, ironman, and this weekend

One month down, 2 1/2 to go...
Wow... time flies.

I was just checking my pictures and I relized that in one month i've accumulated something like 650 pictures! ah! If i keep going at this rate my calculations tell me I will come home with over 1800 pictures/videos so I better slow it down if I want any memory left on my BEAUTIFUL precious mac heheheh

Anyway, lots to report.
Weekend was great, and very relaxing just as I had hoped. The bbq was perfect for a friday night, lots of people and lots of food... what could be better? Has anyone ever heard of ultimate ping pong? it was news to me... but everyone else seemed to be familiar with it. It was so much fun, a little but dizzying though lol
Cliff jumping got postponed (happy mom?)because well the "cool" place to jump off cliffs is a 2 hour drive from here and we just didn't have any time, so we will plan better next time.
Instead we had yet another beach day at my most beloved beach here.... Mile 88. I am in LOVE with this place I tell you.... IN LOVE. I think i'm going to write a song about it actually. Anyway, People always bring boogey boards to the beach here... EVERYONE does. So... in my attempts to surf on a really REALLY small board ... my board got swallowed up by the wave, and I got taken as well.... let's just say it wasn't pretty, and I still have sand in my hair from that... but it was fun.
No shark sightings yet, but lots of stories of people who supposedly have seem them..... hehehe...
Oh OH! Ironman is THIS SATURDAY!! I signed up as a volunteer for the first shift which is REALLY early but you get to see all the runners etc... honestly ive been peer pressured into participating because as most of you already know I ain't into marathons, or any other activity that reminds me how out of shape i am.... but everyone is going to be there... it's the place to be apparently this weekend... and it's all happening down the st. so why not. I had never heard of this Ironman business before I came here, but maybe some of you have?? If you're into it watch it... you might see me!

Now on to the much anticipated SHOUT OUTS!
I got some more mail today... shout out to *drum roll*

Enjoy!

tonight after church I went to the youth room to find Angela and I saw an old lei. I was telling Kristin about "Sara necklaces." Remember the night you were (not very) surprised about the Hawaiian themed going away party at the church? We are thinking of you. At Andre and Kristin's house we had a youth-young adult life group meeting and we prayed for you. Bjooo,
Alicia (yes I am Brazilian) :)
